The idea of shareware as a medium for sharing software has now been expanded to the Xanadu system. According to Ted Nelson, its visionary founder, Xanadu will act as massive repository for data worldwide. This will include programs, videos, games and data in what the system calls Open Hypermedia Publishing. The founders say it will be better than anything before it, and could earn you some money too.
