A dimension is nothing but its name. If you change the name, it's
exactly equivalent to removing the old dimension and creating a new one.
Any cells that were linked in the old dimension still are, you just can't
see that any more (unless you add that dimension back). If you want a
tool that can rename all connections in a given dimension, it would be
possible but potentially very slow if you have a lot of cells!
