I ran into the backfollow from ID "bug" very quickly. If you have
a doc which is empty, the only way to locate links on it is to backfollow
from the ID. If somebody already has an open version of it....

p.s. Ravi figured it out, (that I had a new ID I was attempting to backfollow
from) but it took a while. Imagine some (xanadu) novice attempting to
figure it out.
