gzz: Crash report: corrupted cell numbers (v.0706)

Hi guys--

At some point in my work, both cells showed the number
 "500", even though neither cell was on 500.

Marlene pointed out that if I started typing a cellnumber,
 the real number could be made to show, I forget how.

Where this occurred in my deepening crash spiral is not clear,
 since I thought I was working successfully for a whole
 consecutive hour.  This was not so.  (Report shortly.)
