poor (novice) c++ developer:
"I just want a f*****g array! what's all this Region and Position junk?"
I wasn't suggesting that BobP work on top of all of xpp. Just
(approximately) tofu, bombs, garbage collection (maybe), and comm
support. Little to learn & very hard to do without.
I was proposing that BobP work ontop of xpp, but
NONE OF OUR XPP STUFF WILL SHOW THROUGH in the C & C++ interface.
Certainly the tofu, bombs and gc can't show through to the C programmer, in
face when (if) we reimplement spire in "C" they will go away.
It is very important that the C interface not be contaminated with C++isms,
otherwise there is little reason to bother with it.
